If your car is difficult to control on the freeway or is feeling like you are driving a boat or even experiencing rapid tire wear, I suggest looking at your struts.I replaced my original struts on my 02 Mitsubishi Galant @ 200k mi. Some of the things I noticed is that on the freeway, it was hard to keep the car straight and felt like I was on a boat with the uncontrolled up and down movements. This solved my problem!I did the replacement myself and let me say, it will be worth it if you brought it to a shop when mounting the springs back on. Other part of the install was easy.My original struts were blown out! It didn't even rebound when I compressed it. After they were replaced, I felt confident driving on the freeway or taking corners.I hope you found this helpful!
