Grates are, well, great! A bit tricky to learn how to make ignition work, but after a short learning curve, we like it.When i connected the stove and tried light it the regulator would not let the gas pass through. I used another regulator and like to blow up my whole house with this stove gas leaks everywhere and wrong burners lite up when you try to lite them. Can get a good enough flame to cook anything on this stove and then you find out there is no returns on this item. Would not recommend this item to anyone or the vendor selling it.I like that the total thickness of the cooktop is only 2 inches from bottom face of glass top to the bottom of the unit. It gave me more room for the cabinet drawer below. It’s actually 1 inch thinner than my old Thermador cooktop.As far as cleaning, it’s not as convenient as my old Thermador because there are more burner parts to assemble/disassemble. Because of this I couldn’t give it a 5 star rating. BobIt ig's a great looking unit but arrive damaged the first time. Had it replaced and second unit arrived damaged as well. Seems the top of the box and its packaging is not adequate..The first unit had issues on one of the burners would not stay lit and the LPG conversion gets were not clearly marked tio know in which burner they belong too. I would think twice about buying it.I am loving this stove top! Easy to use, easy to clean. Went from an electric stove to a gas stove. Total love it. For me, you do have to turn the knobs to half way before it will light, not sure if that is the stove or how it was installed. But still loving it!!Everything is great. Its easy to install and clean ... looks beautiful on the counter .All except they can work on the ignition a little bit so it lits faster . U need to hold on for 20 seconds even after we see the flame for it to stay on...
